The World Series Raffle is conducted, coordinated, and hosted by Affordable Homes of South Texas, Inc. (AHSTI) for its free community event, The Home Buyer’s Fair. AHSTI is a non-profit organization under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3).
 

All proceeds to benefit Affordable Homes of South Texas, Inc. and its various community programs.
 

Raffle tickets will be sold beginning March 25, 2024, to June 15, 2024, up to one hour before the final drawing at 3:00 pm on June 15, 2024.
 

Tickets will be sold at $20.00 each. The odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries.
 

Purchasers of tickets must legibly print their name, phone number, and email address on the ticket.
 

The vehicle winner is responsible for all tax, title, license, and/or other fees necessary for transfer. All winners must complete a W-9 form at the event before the prize is transferred. AHSTI will mail out the applicable tax forms in January 2025 for the winner's tax filing purposes. 
 

Only one name on the ticket can be listed and considered the “entrant.” AHSTI shall, will, and can have no obligation to deliver any prize to any person other than the entrant.
 

Minors may not purchase or have their names identified as entrants for prizes. 
 

Payment for the tickets shall be made in “good money” which may be cash, check (check must clear to be considered a valid ticket) All purchases are final, and no refunds will be issued.
 

The winners will be selected through a public random drawing on Saturday, June 15, 2024, during The Home Buyer’s Fair, held at the McAllen Convention Center 700 Convention Center Blvd., McAllen, TX. The drawing will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Game 1. Games 2 to 6 will be drawn every hour thereafter, except for Game 5 and 6 which will be drawn together at the same hour. Game 7 winner will be drawn at 3:30 pm.
 

Winners do not have to be present to win; however, once the winner is drawn, they will be contacted immediately via one phone call and one text message. If there is no answer or response within 15 minutes of the first attempt, a second attempt will be made via text. If the winner does not respond within 5 minutes after the second attempt, they will be disqualified, and a new winner will be drawn and announced.
 

Winners agree to allow use of their name or likeness for publicity purposes without compensation.

• Game 2: Samsung 85” Classic Q60C QLED 4k HUD SMART TV

• Game 3: Samsung (Stainless Steel) 6.3 cu. ft. Smart Wi-fi Electric Range with AirFry feature.

• Game 4: Cindy Crawford Collection Sofa

• Game 5: Samsung (Black) 4.5 cu. ft. high-efficiency front load Washer & Dryer Set

• Game 6: Samsung (Stainless Steel) 32 cu. ft. Mega capacity 3 door French Door Refrigerator with Icemaker.

• Game 7 – New 2023 Nissan Versa S CVT Sedan (winner is responsible for TT&L)
   

 Winners shall make arrangements, at their own expense, to remove the item from the McAllen Convention Center by 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2024.
 

Winners must present the raffle ticket stub when claiming their prize and provide one form of valid picture identification.
 

Winners are subject to all Federal and State tax regulations and payment of any taxes is the sole responsibility of each winner.
 

Winners acknowledge that AHSTI, its staff, and The Home Buyer’s Fair Coordinator have not made, and neither are they in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee expressed or implied in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition, or fitness for a particular use.
 

A copy of all rules and eligibility requirements will be posted at the event and online at www.thehomebuyersfair.org/raffle.  
 

The employees, board members and advisory board members of Affordable Homes of South Texas, Inc. and TuCasa Investments, Inc., at their discretion, may participate in the raffle.
 

The decision of AHSTI’s CEO shall be final on all matters concerning the raffle.
